Why Should Anyone Own an AR15 (Assault Rifle)?

Law abiding citizen carrying.
Law abiding citizen carrying.

A week after one of the most devastating school shootings, taking the lives of 26 individuals (20 children and six adults). The accused gunmen Adam Lanza, took his own life right after callously killing 26 innocent souls, as well as his mother’s a few hours earlier. As America grieves over this tragedy, the memories of those innocent souls live on. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me…I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see.

Because of this tragedy, the gun control dialogue is now being raised again within many media outlets. Republicans are agreeing to compromise with Democrats about introducing “meaningful” legislation on gun control. Insane politicians, i.e., Diane Fisting holding press conferences and imitating Charlton Heston, while holding AR15 rifles above their head, insinuating the band of all “assault rifles.” All this hysteria and targeting of the second amendment is resonating from these limousine liberals. I have been hearing the same ubiquitous rhetoric, by the same characters in the media and of course in politics, “Why should anyone own an assault rifle?”

The problem is that Pierce Morgan, Anderson Cooper, Amy Goodman, and others don’t understand simple American History. When the second amendment was written, it had nothing to do with protecting the citizens’ right to hunt; it protects citizens right to bear arms, as well as the state militia from a potentially tyrannical government. Thomas Jefferson and the rest of the founders were students of history; they knew that in a free society is society, the people are armed. These gun control enthusiasts don’t realize that if the government places a ban on guns, the people will be at the barrel of that firearm and forced into their own enslavement.

History has a pattern of repeating itself and not always for the good. Stalin, Uncle Joe, or whatever name you feel comfortable gun3using, disarmed his own people and ultimately, killing 6 million. Hitler signed the Nazi 1939 gun control bill into law, which disarmed millions of Jews and others. Millions were sent to Auschwitz to die. History tells us that the Nazis slaughtered 12 million of German citizens. Once Mao Zedong reign over China, he was able to disarm the citizens and essentially committing democide of 78 million people–the figures is often disputed. Tyrannical governments have used unarmed citizens as an advantage to enthrall the population. Many political leaders and activist have admonished the people that gun control is a form of slavery.

“No free man shall be disarmed. ” – Thomas Jefferson

“What country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” – Thomas Jefferson

“Any unarmed people are slaves, or are subject to slavery at any given moment. If the guns are taken out of the hands of the people and only the pigs have guns, then it’s off to the concentration camps, the gas chambers, or whatever the fascists in America come up with. One of the democratic rights of the United States, the Second Amendment to the Constitution, gives the people the right to bear arms. However, there is a greater right; the right of human dignity that gives all men the right to defend themselves.” -Huey Newton

“One has not only a legal, but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.” – Martin Luther King

It legal to own a shotgun and a

“…Hence also do I advocate training in arms for those who believe in the method of violence. I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honor than that she should in a cowardly manner become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor.” – M.K. Gandhi

“Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” – Mao

“If the opposition (citizen) disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.” – Joseph Stalin

These are widely available quotes from political leaders addressing the dangers or either the importance of gun control laws, which will eventually lead to a total gun ban. Imagine if Congress adopted legislation that would ban civilian’s ownership of an “assault rifle.” It would not be enough, for a tyrannical government, so they would probably orchestrate another school shooting with some Prozac nut, forcing the dialogue of more gun control. I guarantee the talking heads, like Bloomberg, Michael Moore, Anderson Cooper, Andrew Cuomo, and Pierce Morgan–if he is not deported be then–will continue with the existing dialogue to all to ban all guns.

Well, it certainly seems that New York’s governor Andrew Cuomo is endorsing three options for gun control of the citizens of New York: total confiscation, mandatory buybacks, and permits to own a gun. Wow!  A complete tyrannical approach. What most people do not realize is that Kuomo’s mandatory buyback is a form of operant conditioning. It is an approach to persuade others that a good citizen turns in their guns to the government while they are be rewarded like a “GOOD BITCH.”

Edward Bernays taught these politicians very well because we now see the Michael Bloomberg’s organization, “Demand a Plan” using celebrities in an 83-minute public service announcement. As a strategy to nudge the public to endorse stricter gun control laws,  probably in comparison to what Cuomo is proposing. This video is a reminder of the Kony 2012 propaganda, where celebrities all over jumped on the bandwagon; convincing naive high school and college students to buy t-shirts and wage war to stop Kony. More gun control will not change the actions of others. It will just make us servile to the government, leading to the complete eradication of our freedoms.

History has been the greatest admonishment about the danger of gun control. Laws were passed in America, subsequent to the end of slavery to prevent Blacks from owning slaves. Ku Klux Klan used their political platform to encourage gun control against Blacks. Oh, yeah and the NRA that organization that liberal despise so much, supported the 1968 gun control act, but what many don’t realize is that it was comparable to the Nazi’s 1939 gun control act. America, Soviet Union (Stalin), Germany (Nazi), China (Mao), are not the only governments that made an attempt to control groups from owning guns.

If America refuses to protect the 2nd amendment–and not this arbitrary argument of it is about hunting–which is the protector of the other 9 Bill of Rights, we will fall victims to our freedom and God given rights.

In answering the question “Why should anyone own a assault rifle?” It is simple because I have the right to own one. As a law abidding citizen, I have broken no law, nor have I harmed a single soul, so why deprive me from exercising my constitutional right. You may feel that it is absurd, but before you make a judgment on my lifestyle, take look at your very own government. An institution, who does not hesitate to take the life of innocent families (including 168 children, just in Pakistan) with drones, in the name of terrorism. What about a government (FDA), which approves psychiatric drugs, e.g., Prozac, Zoloaft, Luvox, Praxil), despite knowing there is a link to suicide and homicides. Think that is daunting, FDA knew that Bayer Pharmaceutical was injecting a drug tainted with the AIDS virus into Americans, hemophiliacs mostly children, and the government’s response was to ship it over seas. So, just because Law abiding citizen owns AK47s, AR15s or any other firearm does not mean they will commit a massacre. Let’s not demonize our rights.
