Do you ever remember sitting in fourth-grade social studies class, learning about the three branches of government; the executive, legislative, and, of course, the judicial branch? Now, I know this knowledge can be a bit archaic and may not be taught in our schools today. But what if I told you that we might now only have one absolute form of government – a dictatorial power – according to the Obama administration. Recently I watched an excerpt from a Senate hearing with Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta and the rest of the joint chief of staff; the video exasperated me to my core, it was mind-boggling.
On March 7, Panetta testified in front of the Senate arms service committee regarding the role that the administration will take in regards to military action to invade Syria. Now allow me to jog your memory, this is the same administration, which never seek congressional permission when it utilized kinetic action to invade Libya and fund Al Qaeda rebels. Their response was that the UN authorized military occupation. Panetta sat in front of Senator Jeff Secession and others, sardonically admitting with no equivocation, “Again, our goal would be to seek international permission and we would come to the Congress AND INFORM YOU and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress, I think those are issues I think we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here.”
No, you are not reading a misconstrue statement, no you are not going insane, and no this is far from a theatrical hyperbole, just an arrogant, tyrannical administration that has absolutely no regards to the constitution. This is what we a Coup D’etat.
From the transcript of the hearing provided by Maggie Notebook:
SESSIONS: We worried about International Legal Basis, but no one worried about the fundamental Constitutional legal basis that this Congress has over the war. We were not asked, stunningly, in direct violation of the War Powers Act, whether or not you believe it’s Constitutional, it certainly didn’t comply with it.
We spent our time worrying about the U.N., the Arab League, NATO and too little time worrying about the elected Representatives of the United States.
Do you think you can act without Congress and initiate a No Fly Zone in Syria, without Congressional approval?
PANETTA: Again, our goal would be to seek international permission and we would come to the Congress AND INFORM YOU and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress, I think those are issues I think we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here.
SESSIONS: Well, I’m almost breathless about that, because what I heard you say is, we are going to seek international approval and then we’ll come and tell the Congress what we might do, and we might seek Congressional approval.
I want to say to you, that’s a big deal, wouldn’t you agree? You served in the Congress. Wouldn’t you agree that would be pretty breathtaking for the average American, so would you like to clarify that?
PANETTA: I’ve also served with Republican Presidents and Democratic Presidents who have always reserved the right to defend this country if necessary.
SESSIONS: But before you do this you would seek permission of the international authorities?
PANETTA: If we are working with an international coalition and we’re working with NATO we would want to be able to get appropriate permissions in order to be able to do that. That’s something that all of these countries would want to have – some kind of legal basis on which to act.
SESSIONS: What kind of legal basis are you looking for? What entity?
PANETTA: If NATO made the decision to go in, that would be one. If we developed an international coalition beyond NATO then some kind of U.N. Security Resolution…
SESSIONS: So you are saying NATO would give you a legal basis…and an ad hoc coalition of the United Nations would provide a legal basis?
PANETTA: (blather – more about coalitions and justifying being a part of a coalition)
SESSIONS: Well who are you asking for the legal basis from?
PANETTA: If the U.N. passed a Security Resolution as it did with Libya, we would do that. If NATO came together as it did in Bosnia, we would rely on that, so we have options here IF WE WANT TO BUILD THE KIND OF INTERNATIONAL APPROACH for dealing with the situation.
SESSIONS: I’m all for having international support but I’m really baffled by the idea that somehow an international assembly provides a legal basis for the United States Military to be deployed in combat.
I don’t believe it is close to being correct. They provide no legal authority. The only legal authority that is required to deploy the United States Military is the Congress and the President and the law and the Constitution.
PANETTA: Let me for the record be clear again…when it comes to the national defense of this country, the President of the United States has the authority under the Constitution to act to defend this country and we will.
If it comes to an operation where we are trying to build a coalition of Nations to work together to go in and operate as we did in Libya or Bosnia, for that matter Afghanistan, we want to do it with permissions either by NATO or by the international community.

Leone Panetta, elaborates over and over again that when it comes to the national defense of the country, the president has the authority to defend the nation by any means under the constitution, which is a fallacy to some extent. Under the CONSTITUTION, article 1 section 8 congress has authorized to declare war, letters of Marque, Reprisal, and make laws about the capture of land and water. Alexander Hamilton has even elaborated in The Federalist Papers that war powers are found in article 1 section 8 of the constitution. Panetta’s statement is also valid to because Congress lethargically passed the War Power Resolution of 1941.
War Power Resolution gave the President the power to commit military force, without consulting Congress as they would to obtain a declaration of war. The president is required to apprise Congress within 48 hours before deploring military force. This piece of legislation was passed during awakening of the Korean and Vietnam War of 1973. Since this unconstitutional legislation was passed, Bill Clinton used it in Kosovo and Barak Obama in Libya. The only to US Presidents to utilize the War Power Resolution. What’s so upsetting and treasonous about the Obama administration is that they are ignoring congress and going strait to the United Nation, abdicating this branch of government making them ceremonial.
From my knowledge and research, the U.N., World Bank, as well as the IMF are all run and controlled by globalist leeches, who are nothing other than misanthropes. They have an agenda, to eradicate nations’ sovereignty and the world population. A prime example is Greece, this was a nation forced to hand over their sovereignty to the same banks– Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and others–that placed them in an economic debacle.
Earlier this week, the Attorney General Eric Holder had the audacity to justify the President authorization to secretly target American citizens for execution, in a lecture of law students at Northwestern University Law School. This type of arrogant rhetoric is reprehensible for justifying the killing of American citizens, without any due process. Maybe Holder needs to readmit himself into Colombia Law and study the constitution, thoroughly because he’s practicing treason, not law as the Attorney General. Remember, those Bush years, brutal attacks – absolutely necessary – by the far left and progressives for shredding the constitution, as well as going to war on false pretenses – just to name a few. Now that we’re under the Obama administration, I hear nothing but silence when his defense secretary, and attorney general sardonically disrespecting the constitution.
When will the madness end, two days later the FBI director Robert Mullen was asked to testify at congressional hearing, regarding the NDAA. Congressman Kevin Yoder asked, whether the government can kill U.S. citizens on American soil? Mullen stumbled with his response, basically saying, that he is uncertain if it was addressed or not. Well, Robert Mullen let me give you some clarity, “hell no, you cannot kill anyone on American soil without due process.” Satisfied with that answer? Who ever thought that we would come to this point, where we are having congressional hearing to reach an understanding whether to kill or not to kill, without due process.
This has been one crazy week for Americans and the rest of the world; witnessing testimonies from the Obama administration, lecturing Congress about what their powers entail. Penetta told congress to hit the road because their authority is insignificant. It reminded me of the Godfather Part II, during the senate congressional hearing where the star witness, Frank Pentengeli refused to testify against Michael Corleone. It of course shocked the panel of Senators. We are beyond the point of a U.S. president claiming dictatorial power. Bush did it and even referred to the constitution as a “damn piece of paper.” Obama has asserted dictatorial power and is using the United Nations–a foreign power–as his personal legislative branch.
The globalist’s agenda is pervading throughout this country, we’re seeing legislative bodies from local city councils, state legislators, and now the U.S. Congress are losing their power to govern. An all out martial law, Orwellian police state is quickly approaching us, with the use of audacious rhetoric, knowing that only a few will be outraged, while the majority are propagandize with this Kony 2012 bullshit campaign. We are losing our rights e.g. to protest and freedom of speech and soon the ability to vote. Americans need to address these indisputable actions by Obama and the White House; it is time to call for the impeachment of Barak Hussein Obama. It is surely not easy, I have always have been very critical of Obama, but he has gone too far with Libya, Healthcare, NDAA, and now telling Congress that he takes his orders from the UN.
So, Congressman Walter Jones started the impeachment process for Barak Obama with HR 107. I laud Congressman Jones and strongly feel that we need to support this impeachment proceeding. Contact your representatives about supporting HR 107, those who refuse to support this legislation should also be removed from office, they’re aiding and abetting.
America let’s demit treason and restore our liberties!
