Democide: Government are Serial Killers

Mostly all of us have probably heard of the word genocide, which is defined as “the deliberate systematic destruction in whole or part of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.” This definition is just a paraphrase of the definition deriving from the 1948 UN Genocide Convention – CPPCG. We are all so familiar with evince examples of genocides from the Nazi Holocaust to the slaughtering of hundreds of thousands of Tutsis killed in Rwanda. As apprised we may be about genocide most of us are probably have never heard of the term democide.

Political scientist, Rudolph Rummel – the father of the term democide – defines democide as “the murder of any person or people by a government, including genocide, politocide, and mass murder.” When we look at the United Nation’s definition of genocide, it seems that they failed to incorporate government murders, but Rummel never hesitated to define governmental murder.

Democide has been the number one cause of unnatural deathes in the 20th and 21st century, whether it’s the result of a dictatorial power running amok and eradicating millions and millions of their own people, or western governments funding democidal dictators. These control freak elites realized that they had to divert away from the conventional democide because of political leaders like Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Miao, Pol Pot – just to name a few – and move toward bio-democide. It’s not to say that soft kill is the only type of murdering that governments are committing they’re just doing it on a covert scale. Government has killed a little under a quarter of a billion people and still counting.
