This country is a shard that has been gradually cracking down the middle as a result of this draconian, chicanery government running amok – they’re constantly revoking all of our rights and freedoms. This all comes with the awakening of the U.S. senate and the US House passes the National Defense Authorization Act, approved by an overwhelming majority – Senate 93-7, House 286-169. Now it is on the desk of the oval office, waiting for Obama to sign. This deliberate violation of the constitution, allows our very own military to arrest any American the government feels could be a potential threat without a trial or jury – due process. According to some of the provisions, if you are detained under the NDAA you may be imprison indefinitely – so forget about your e.g. wife, girlfriend, kids, friends, and family. It sounds like the most asinine piece of legislation to target our civil liberties.
Let’s analyze some of the some of the provisions in-bedded into section 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA legislation, according to firedoglake.com via vigilantcitizens.com:
1) Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside the United States;
(2) Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and
(3) Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice.
Who are these devilish assholes that sponsored and even have the audacity to write this bill? Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Carl Levin. McCain was the same warmonger; miscreant politician who helped write the Enemy Belligerent Act with Joe Lieberman that is very much similar to the NDAA, during the spring of 2010. Then you got Lindsey Graham from the state of South Carolina making the most asinine statement I have ever heard, “The homeland is a part of our battlefield and people can be held without trial whether an American citizen or not.” Wait a second, has this motherfucker ever heard of a document call the constitution.
While this bill was being debated in Senate, by Rand Paul and Mark Udall, whom fought rigorously to dismantle and weaken the legislation, targeting US citizens. The White House and Obama on the other hand threatened to veto the bill if passed. Almost every media outlet, including the alternative media was duped into believing the action of this administration. But really, why would anyone believe this president, especially when he utilized his executive power to kill Anwar al-awlaki and his son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki–both American born citizen. There may have been a few news sources like Infowars and Activist Post that weren’t fooled by the political trickery. Below is the White House statement in regards to the NDAA legislation:
“Any bill that challenges or constrains the President’s critical authorities to collect intelligence, incapacitate dangerous terrorists, and protect the Nation would prompt the President’s senior advisers to recommend a veto,” the White House said in a statement.
The Administration strongly objects to the military custody provision, the White House said, noting that it could apply to people in the United States. That “would raise serious and unsettled legal questions and would be inconsistent with the fundamental American principle that our military does not patrol our streets.”
A CSPAN excerpt released days after the White House threatened to veto the legislation illustrating the administration’s involvement in the NDAA bill, which belies the White House’s original statement.
Ever since the actions of September 11th, this government–particularly the global elites–have used that incident as a pretext to restrict the American people of their civil liberties – as well as waging unjust wars. This government has utilized “the war on terror” to enact The Patriot Act, not to protect you and me, but as a means of enthralling its citizens. This heinous piece of legislation has given the government too much power.
We are far from a free nation, especially when the NSA is constantly monitoring our telephone calls. We face unconstitutional interrogations by TSA officers when traveling through our airports and are forced to either be invasively patted-down or walk through hazardous body scanners – now we find TSA officers conducting random unlawful searches on American highways. What is this, Nazi Germany “Can I see your papers, papers please?” It seems like we as a nation are gradually losing our civil liberties, but at a faster pace than we perceive. The passing of the NDAA bill is the death of freedom and the rise of martial law; the walls of Posse Comitatus have fallen. Expect to eventually see US troops monopolizing ours cities, it’s not like we haven’t seen it before – it’s disturbing enough that the CIA has been reportedly working with police departments to militarizing them.
Let’s take a look at those politicians who supported and opposed this piece of legislation in the House and Senate, after dissecting the delegates in the respected states where you reside; think twice about voting those corrupt traitors back in office. I’m singing the same tune for “our president,” Obama. The only way I see country returning back to its constitutional roots is to elect like-minded politicians like Ron Paul – listen, this is not an endorsement.
Could you have seen this coming on the horizon that American citizens could be indefinitely detained by our own military with-out due process, if the government suspects that you’re terrorist? But to be perfectly honest it’s not surprising the direction this country is headed, especially when you look at the growing police state – old women being pepper sprayed for exercising their first amendment, the beating of pregnant women to the point of miscarrying – the list of inhumane treatment is endless. As long as I can remember this country has always been a paragon for the rest of the world to follow, but is looking no better than Nazi Germany or Maoist China. I found it facetious that the Department of Justice has a new definition of a terrorist; if you have more than 7 days worth of food in your home, own weatherized guns, you are classified as a terrorist. It’s disturbing enough that protester can now be labeled as low-level terrorist, according to our Department of Defense. Once President Obama signs the NDAA bill that will eviscerate the constitution, opening the gates to the Ending the game of America. One thing we should not do is to submit let’s continue to fight to the end.
